by a Group from the Fula tribe . On the way back a stop at the
fishing village of Tanji.

A trip across The river Gambia by ferry from Banjul to Barra on the north bank. From there in 90 minutes to Juffureh. At Juffereh by wooden boat to the fort on James Island, a former prison camp for slaves. On the island there is a guided tour around the ruins of the fort. On returning lunch in the local restaurant and an opportunity to visit the Slave museum before starting on the return journey back to the hotel. Price: 50,- pp
